At RISE Elementary in Neosho, Missouri, young students got a taste of real science with a little help from KCU’s Dr. Joseph Williams. Using strawberries and simple household items, Dr. Williams led a hands-on lesson in DNA extraction—breaking down complex science through interactive learning. The excitement in the room was unmistakable as they uncovered strands of DNA and asked big questions about the world around them.
