Dear KCU Community,

With the spring season upon us and returning from a restful spring break our campuses are abuzz. Over the last two weeks we held an open house for our Center for Medical Education Innovation, the construction of our College of Dental Medicine and Oral Health Center project has accelerated, the annual MO-KAN Osteopathic Conference was held on our campus for the first time, we hosted KC’s Nexus Informatics Conference, and we participated in a groundbreaking by the KC Parks Department for a redesigned intersection that will ultimately expand our campus westward.

As we enter into the months of April and May, our University community also has much to look forward to, as we complete another academic year and our Commencement Ceremonies on May 7 and 8, 2022, in Kansas City and Joplin approach.

Despite the challenges in the world today, spring represents a time of rebirth and refocus. During this season we celebrate Ramadan (April 2-May 2), Passover (April 15-23) and Easter (April 17), and I wish each and every member of our KCU community the hope and renewal we come to expect of spring.

Yours truly,
