Rob Bratcher

Rob Bratcher is president of Commerce Bank of Kansas City. He joined Commerce Bank in 2012 as Western Region division manager for healthcare banking. In 2014, he was promoted to head of commercial banking for the Kansas City region, a role he continues to hold in addition to overseeing the bank’s Iowa expansion market. He brings more than 30 years of experience in financial services.

Throughout his career, Bratcher has worked across multiple commercial banking segments, including leveraged finance, large corporate banking and middle market banking, with industry expertise in health care, engineering, construction and employee-owned companies.

Bratcher is active in civic and professional leadership across the Kansas City region. He serves on the board of directors and co-chair of the Kansas City Area Development Council, on the Board of Trustees for AdventHealth Shawnee Mission and on the Police Foundation of Kansas City. He is also chair of the Oppenstein Brothers Foundation, a $40 million charitable foundation supporting organizations that serve vulnerable populations in the Kansas City community.

His professional and civic leadership has been recognized through participation in Kansas City Tomorrow (Class 30), selection as a NextGen Leader by the Kansas City Business Journal and inclusion in Ingram’s 250 Most Influential Business Leaders in Kansas City. He is also an active member of the Kansas City chapter of YPO.

Bratcher earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in finance and real estate, cum laude, from the University of Missouri-Columbia. He continues to support his alma mater through the Davenport Society, Jefferson Club and as a former member of the Trulaske College of Business Finance Advisory Board.
