Peter Khoury, DO, a recent graduate of KCU-Joplin College of Osteopathic Medicine, was featured in Compliance Today Magazine, highlighting his expertise and unique path at the intersection of health care, law and governance.
While in undergrad at Penn State, he served as student body president and on the Board of Trustees during a period of institutional crisis, where he witnessed firsthand the impact of governance failures. That experience reframed his view of compliance as protecting people and restoring trust, a perspective he later deepened through graduate training in health law.
The feature explores topics like the growing role of AI and advanced analytics in compliance, along with how leaders can “pressure test” policies in real-world settings and what truly defines a culture of integrity.
