Nutrition initiative aims to transform patient care

Kansas City University (KCU) hosted a regional roundtable as part of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Nutrition Initiative, bringing together federal health leaders, physicians, educators and community partners to advance nutrition education in medical training. As one of 73 participating medical schools nationwide, KCU is helping prepare future physicians with the knowledge and skills to better prevent and manage diet-related chronic diseases through patient care.
