Score 1 for Health brings free screenings and STEM activities to KC kids

Elementary students from Vita Nova Charter School visited Kansas City University (KCU) for Score 1 for Health, a program founded by former Kansas City Chiefs player Deron Cherry. KCU medical students conducted free health screenings, including vision checks, blood pressure readings, height and weight measurements and oral health assessments, while children also explored hands-on STEM activities and left inspired with “future doctor” badges.
