Where compassion meets global health through KCU in Kenya

For a decade, Kansas City University (KCU) has partnered with Bonyo’s Kenya Mission, sending student groups twice a year to provide care, practice osteopathic principles and gain hands-on global health experience. Led by Gautam Desai, DO, FACOFP dist., current president of the American Colleges of Osteopathic Family Physicians (ACOFP) and chair of Primary Care and director of global health at KCU, the program and Dr. Bonyo’s work show the meaningful impact of osteopathic family physicians.
