Annual Giving
Annual gifts are vital to KCU’s ability to deliver our mission of improving the communities we serve. Unrestricted gifts provide a crucial bridge between tuition revenue and the actual cost of running KCU, offering relief to the operating budget and directly affecting students, faculty and numerous programs across the University.
Most importantly, unrestricted gifts, regardless of the size, allow KCU to respond to our most pressing financial concerns and provide the flexibility to seize important opportunities and to evolve in response to the ever-changing health care industry.
Giving Societies
KCU is proud to honor the distinguished group of contributors who, year after year, help KCU respond to emerging needs and priorities to ensure student success. Your gift demonstrates your belief in KCU’s mission, and your commitment to advancing the osteopathic profession.
Conley Society
Named in honor of KCU’s first President, George J. Conley, DO, the Conley Society recognizes alumni and friends who annually support the University’s general fund with contributions of $1,000 or above.
President's Club
In recognition of KCU’s past presidents and current President and CEO, Marc B. Hahn, DO, FAOCA, the University recognizes the alumni and friends who commit $5,000 or above in a calendar year to the success of our students.
Gold Society
The Gold Society recognizes alumni and friends who maintain a record of sustained annual giving for a minimum of three consecutive calendar years, across a variety of giving areas.
Heritage Society
The Heritage Society honors those individuals whose gift plans set a firm foundation for the long-term financial benefit of KCU and for the University’s continued ability to support students as they pursue degrees in osteopathic medicine, bioethics or biomedical sciences.
Endowed Scholarships
Endowed scholarships are fully funded with a minimum gift of $50,000. Scholarships may be funded through outright gifts or over a period of time, up to five years. Each scholarship is permanently endowed, with earnings from the endowment used to fund the scholarship each year. Scholarships may be named in memory or in honor of an individual or entity.
