COM COVID-19 Response Team

COM Student Doctors are needed again to help support our community partners in fighting the spread of COVID through ongoing vaccination efforts. We are building a COM COVID Response Team that will be available throughout the year to serve as vaccinators or general support as needed. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience and help protect our communities. We will work to find opportunities for you to serve as a volunteer in both the KC and Joplin regions. (If you volunteered last year, you will still need to sign-up using this form in order to participate in this year's activities but will not be required to complete the Canvas Training Course or IM Injection Training Session again).

In order to volunteer, you must complete the following requirements:

• Complete the COVID Vaccinator Training Course - AY21_22 in Canvas 
• Complete an IM Injection Training - be prepared to be trained by a KCU approved faculty member at a TBA training session or at the first vaccination clinic you attend
• Have received the COVID vaccine - both doses if applicable

You will receive via email, individual vaccine clinic opportunities as they arise. As a student at KCU, you are not required to participate in this voluntary opportunity. There are no credit hours given for participation.
