KCU students serve as health advocates to help refugees navigate health care access

Through the Refugee Health Navigator Program, Kansas City University (KCU) students learn whole-person care by walking alongside refugee families as they navigate the U.S. health care system. The program pairs KCU students with refugees to help address cultural, systemic and social barriers that affect access to care.
