Following 18 months dominated by the need for ongoing COVID-19 updates and the temporary suspension of my regular monthly newsletter, I’m pleased to return with a fresh, new look and updated format for this communication. KCU NAMES NEW COM EXECUTIVE DEAN

Earlier this month, I was pleased to announce the appointment of W. Joshua Cox, DO, FACOFP, as the new executive dean.

PARTNERSHIP PROVIDES VISION SCREENING FOR YOUTH

KCU’s Score 1 for Health partnered with OneSight Foundation last month for a one-week clinic, providing free eye exams to more than 400 underserved youth.

VACCINE CAMPAIGN DEBUTS IN JOPLIN

KCU has begun a series of six public service announcement-style television spots to provide education on the safety and efficacy of COVID-19 vaccines.
